(not so new) news from the toronto star

came across this toronto star (not so new) news story today:

Camera loves Winnipeg winner

Canada's Next Top Model, Meaghan Waller, dishes on her job – and how to live with 16 other girls

thats the copied and pasted headline and line below the headline but before the byline of the today's toronto star. it's about the winner of Canada's Next Top Model (CNTM) and is not promoting anything thats happening soon or newsworthy. yes, i know this is the living section, but seriously, this would be an acceptable (not news) news story in June, when CNTM was on the air OR in a few months when the next cycle of CNTM is being promoted. i thought the toronto star was a newspaper not an oldspaper.

The Toronto Star on the plaid trend, from August 20, 2009:

Forever plaid

Move over, metrosexuals. That working-man staple, the plaid shirt, is about to become the workhorse of this fall's wardrobe, whatever your style

The Toronto Star on the dangers of the new concept of pre-drinking, from December 17, 2009:

Pre-drinking binges new culture of intoxication

Canadian researchers say new phenomenon is common worldwide

now where did i put those potato chips from yesterday? i'm hungry.

Review of Compliments Value Ketchup Flavour Potato Chips

on my way home from postering i went to price chopper and got a bag of compliments value ketchup flavour potato chips for $0.89. i am disappointed by their lack of ketchup flavour. herr's ketchup flavour potato chips from nofrills are covered in ketchup flavour and they're only $0.99. its crazy how much ketchup flavour is in $0.10.
